Meeting with a CED Consultant

Consultations for Your New Business
Meeting with a consultant to discuss your new business idea is simple. Once you sign-up for consulting services through the CED, a consultant will contact you by phone or email to make an appointment. During the initial appointment the consultant will go over the information you supply prior to the meeting, discuss a plan to move forward, and start providing information and guidance to help your ideas become reality.
All consultation meetings are confidential and no charge, and consultants are available to meet with you in their office or yours. A typical scenario is several meetings over a few weeks with you and the consultant both providing information for the business plan, which results in a finished Word document and Excel spreadsheet with financial projections. The consultants are also available during that period to answer questions via phone and email.
We cover all of northeastern Minnesota with consultants in:
- International Falls
- Grand Marais
- Grand Rapids
You will be assigned to a consultant closest to your area, and based on consultant expertise whenever possible. Our consultants all work on business plans, financials, and other basic business information. Collectively, all consultants may be drawn upon to help you complete your plan and launch your business.
